Led By Cliff Worely, of Cliffnotes AI, Executives will learn how AI can enhance decision-making, optimize business processes, and drive innovation. We’ll cover the latest AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and automation tools, along with real-world case studies that demonstrate their impact across industries. Cornell Belcher is President of brilliant corners Research & Strategies and is one of the premier strategists in national progressive politics as well as in the rebranding of corporate America. He is also a former political contributor to CNN, having provided political analysis to them for six years. Cornell served as Pollster for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) under Chairman Howard Dean making him the first minority to lead in that role for either national Party. He also served on the polling team for both Obama presidential campaigns. Over the years, Cornell has worked with both Senate and House Democrats as Senior Political Advisor to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) in the 2002 cycle and Special Projects Director for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in the 2000 cycle. And Cornell served as Women VOTE! Coordinator for EMILY’s List in the 1998 cycle, helping to put together communication and GOTV operations targeting women voters all over the country.

Belcher is an experienced hand at campaign politics and has years of expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, message development, and product and behavioral insight. Founding brilliant corners in 2001, he is considered the vanguard for demographic trends among the emerging younger and browner America. Both the political and corporate world seek his counsel to decipher emerging trends and to develop communication strategies for reaching this coalition redefining the American marketplace. In 2008 and 2012, youth and minority voters over-indexed and changed the face of the electorate helping not only President Obama, but progressive candidates and issues up and down the ballot; indeed in 2012 African American voter turnout surpassed that of whites for the first time in history. Both historic watershed moments that greatly depended on Cornell’s nonconformist contributing work.

How Did we Get Here? A Journey through American Politics

David (Dave) Bozeman is President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of C.H. Robinson. Dave is an accomplished executive, bringing over 30 years of experience at industry-leading companies and iconic brands across supply chains, middle-mile transportation, manufacturing, digital and customer service to C.H. Robinson.

Dave previously served as Vice President, Ford Customer Service Division, and Vice President, Enthusiast Vehicles, for Ford Blue of Ford Motor Company. Prior to joining Ford, Dave served as Senior Vice President, Amazon Transportation Services of Amazon.com, Inc. from 2017 to 2022. Before that, Dave held roles of increasing seniority at Caterpillar, Inc. from 2008 to 2016, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President Enterprise Systems. Earlier in his career, Dave spent 16 years at Harley-Davidson, Inc. from 1992 to 2008. Dave served as a member of the Board of Directors of Weyerhaeuser from 2015 to 2017.

Dave received an MS in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and a BS in Manufacturing Design from Bradley University.

Dave is a member of the Board of Directors of The Brookings Institution, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of The Conservation Fund, a U.S. nonprofit organization with a dual charter to pursue environmental preservation and economic development. Dave is also a member of The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), an independent non-profit organization opening opportunities for the development of Black executives to positively impact business and our communities.

Michael C. Hyter is President and CEO of The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), the preeminent membership organization for Black CEOs, board directors, and the most senior Black executives at Fortune 1000, Global 500 and equivalent companies. He leads the organization’s efforts to increase the number of global Black executives in C-Suites, on corporate boards, and in global enterprises.

An accomplished senior executive, leadership consultant, author and thought leader, Hyter is widely known for his success in developing enterprise leaders and their next generation successors. For more than 25 years, Hyter has served as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in a variety of industries. He brings a wealth of leadership experience to The ELC in the areas of CEO succession, chief executive and executive to leadership development, and strategic Diversity and Inclusion consulting.

Toni Townes-Whitley is Chief Executive Officer of SAIC. With annual revenues of $7.4 billion and approximately 24,000 employees, SAIC provides engineering, digital, artificial intelligence and mission solutions across the defense, space, civilian and intelligence markets.

Townes-Whitley became CEO and was elected to SAIC’s Board of Directors in October 2023. Townes-Whitley has a distinguished and proven track record of driving strong enterprise financial results and fostering an inclusive culture focused on entrepreneurship and high performance. In her past role as president of U.S. regulated industries at Microsoft, she led the company’s public sector and regulated commercial industries including education, financial services, government and healthcare, managing $16 billion of annual revenue.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Townes-Whitley was president of CGI Federal, where she was responsible for a portfolio of more than $1 billion, leading 6,600 employees to deliver greater value to U.S. government civilian, defense and intelligence sectors. Previously, Townes-Whitley held several management roles at Unisys Corp., leading global and commercial-sector systems integration and the federal civilian group, where she achieved 500% revenue growth and doubled profitability.

Townes-Whitley is a global tech leader who serves as an independent director/trustee on five boards: Nasdaq, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Partnership for Public Service, Catalyst and the Princeton Faith & Work Initiative. She is a guest lecturer on technology ethics and entrepreneurism in the public sector at Stanford and Princeton universities.

Townes-Whitley earned her bachelor's degree in public policy and economics from Princeton University’s School of Public & International Affairs and has received certifications from Wharton Executive Education, New York University and the Performance Management Institute.

Townes-Whitley’s work has been recognized across many industries, making her the recipient of numerous awards that include a 2024 USA Today Women of the Year honoree, 2024 Women in Technology Lifetime Achievement Award, Fortune Most Powerful Women: Ones to Watch, Ideagen Global Leadership Award, Black Enterprise Top Executive, FedScoop 50 for Industry Leadership, 2020 IES Lifetime Achievement Award, NVTC Tech 100 Executive, Federal 100 Industry Eagle Award and STEM for Her Woman of the Year.

In addition to her current board service, Townes-Whitley has been a long-time advisor to and fundraiser for the Women’s Center of Northern Virginia and a past president and board chair of Women in Technology. She continues to support the Peace Corps, for which she volunteered for three years as a village teacher in Gabon (Central Africa).

Mark Weinberger served as the Global Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EY (Ernst & Young) (professional services) from 2013 through June 2019, having served as Global Chairman and CEO-elect in the prior year. He was Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury in the George W. Bush Administration and was appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve on the U.S. Social Security Administration Advisory Board. Mr. Weinberger serves as a Senior Advisor to Stone Canyon Industries Holdings Inc. and Teneo. He is an Executive Advisor to G100 and World 50. Mr. Weinberger also serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Board of FCLTGlobal, which focuses on long-term investing and corporate governance. Mr. Weinberger is on the Board of Directors of JUST Capital. He sits on the Board of Directors of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), is a Senior Advisor to Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP). He is a member of the Boards of Trustees for Emory University, Case Western Reserve University, The Concord Coalition and The Greater Washington Partnership.

Cliff Worley is an accomplished marketing leader and growth advisor to startups. Cliff received his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and MBA from W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. After graduating from Babson, Cliff joined the Shark Group, a branding consultancy firm created by renowned entrepreneur Daymond John. As Chief Digital Officer, Cliff set the digital strategy for Daymond John and worked as a digital strategist for all of his top Shark Tank investments.

Cliff serves on the boards of two esteemed organizations: The NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center, a non-profit that educates, innovates, and connects aspiring and current entrepreneurs, and VC Platform, the largest group of platform professionals in the venture capital industry, representing over 1,000 global firms managing $2.61 trillion in assets.
