From June 30 – July 6, 2024, you will have the opportunity to join The Executive Leadership Council and a small cohort of members for our first membership excursion to the continent of Africa.

We have been working diligently to not only source a travel agency that can provide the level of white glove service our membership deserves but to also develop the appropriate mix of culture and engagement for our membership will appreciate. We were able to find this mix with Arrangements Abroad, and they have curated for us four highly engaging and transformative days in Accra, Ghana in addition to a postlude experience to Morocco for those wishing to keep the cultural immersion going.

July 4th : Confronting the Past, Embracing Heritage

• Journey to Cape Coast to dive into the history of the transatlantic slave trade
• Tour Cape Coast Castle
• Tour Elmina Castle "Door of No Return", a UNSECO World Heritage Monument and the oldest European-built structure

July 5th : Celebrating New Connections

• Participate in an Akan Naming Ceremony
• Courtesy call with village chief and elders,
• Farewell reception 

July 6th : Departure

• Breakfast before departing for the airport

Your deposit of $1000 per person must be made via the MyELC registration link below by Wednesday February 28, 2024. Your final deposit will be made directly with Arrangements Abroad and will be due by no later than Friday, March 29, 2024.
